How to Pre-order Duty Free Products Online

When you pre-order from Retail Therapy you have more time to decide what to buy, and you can also take advantage of our extensive range of over 1000 products and further savings. It also means once you're onboard you can relax and enjoy the inflight entertainment, safe in the knowledge that your purchases will be delivered to your seat. Please note orders to / from Heathrow require 3 working days' notice and flights to / from Manchester, require 10 working days notice. For Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast please contact the Call Centre on +44 (0) 344 579 0055 at least one month prior to departure. From time to time, we may experience unforeseen operational disruption or aircraft swaps that may result in the non-delivery of any pre-orders. In this event, we would encourage our customers who have purchased any alcohol, tobacco or fragrances to purchase inflight as these items cannot be home delivered due to HMRC restrictions and to contact the customer service team on, +44 (0) 344 579 0055 who will be able to process a refund of the original order.

Start Shopping

To start shopping for amazing duty free products simply click on the Category or Brand drop down menu and off you go. To find the product you can also enter the keyword or the name of the product in the search box.

Shopping for goods

Once you have clicked on a category or bran, a choice of items will come up.  Once you have chosen your option (for eg Make up) you will see all products available. When you click onto a product`s image you will be able to:

See the short description

See the price

See the product code - specific for each product

You will be able to purchase this item by clicking onto the ADD TO BAG button

Delivery Method – Please select your option

If you choose In Flight Option you will be asked to enter your flight details.

You will then be asked to check the details and select your flight.

You can only pre-order goods up to 2 months before your departure date.

Now you can choose to carry on shopping or go to the shopping bag.

 

Shopping Basket

Once you have added items to your shopping basket you can change the quantity of items by changing the quantity number. Press the symbol to delete all products from your shopping basket.

Your shopping basket will show you:

The sub total price.

Any relevant promotional discounts 

The total price after savings

Once you have finished adding all your items to the shopping bag press the proceed to checkout button.  This will take you to the checkout.

Enter your billing details and click on Next, Click on Credit Card and then on Next.

This takes you to the Summary page so please check the details of what you are ordering and the flight details are correct. Accept the Ts & Cs and confirm the legal age confirmation and then click on Pay Now.

This takes you to our payment page. Please enter the card details. You will automatically be diverted to the

 And you will receive a confirmation email. We do advise printing this out or download onto a device to show Crew once onboard your flight.

Receiving your goods

Your goods will be delivered to you onboard the aircraft on either your outbound or inbound flight that you have selected.  Please make sure your keep your order number/ receipt for proof of purchase when receiving your goods.

Earning Points

You will earn 4 Virgin Points for every £1 spent when you shop with Retail Therapy online or aboard a Virgin Atlantic flight which passes through a participating UK airport.  

To start earning points, simply add your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club membership number to your Retail Therapy account and we will automatically add the points earned to your Flying Club account.

Virgin Points will be earned on the purchase price of goods only and cannot be earned on taxes, delivery fees or any other charges.


Spending Points

Spend your Virgin Points seamlessly online on pre-order or home delivery items by logging into your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club account before checkout. You no longer need to convert Virgin Points to Retail Therapy Evouchers to spend them online with this new feature.

If you have an Evoucher code for £25 or £50, you are still able to use this as payment online at checkout. Evouchers and Virgin Points can be spent on the purchase price of goods only and cannot be used to pay taxes, delivery fees or any other charges.

You must live in the UK to be able to select home delivery or must be passing through a participating UK airport for one portion of your journey to select in-flight delivery. Product exclusions apply to home delivery orders.
